Look not for this body of mine,
for of this earth it has served it’s time.
Look instead to your peaceful mind,
for this is where my soul you’ll find.
And as the seasons come and go,
I’ll be there so you will know.
With each and every passing day,
I’ll be there to show the way.
So as we end this peaceful day,
it’s time for me to be on my way.

Poetry, like any other art form can be esoteric or exoteric. Oscar Wilde said “Be yourself, everyone else is taken.” Therefore, I prefer an exoteric style in my poetry in hopes of avoiding any esoteric pretense. Ernest Hemingway is quoted as saying: "There is nothing to writing. All you have to do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed."
