Courage is not a lack of fear,
for if it were it would not be dear.
Courage is within us all,
it only waits our beckon call.
And when the time is right to call,
you will join the best of all.
For in your fight to conquer fear,
you will know what others hold dear.
So as you live each passing day,
courage is with you and there it will stay.

Poetry, like any other art form can be esoteric or exoteric. Oscar Wilde said “Be yourself, everyone else is taken.” Therefore, I prefer an exoteric style in my poetry in hopes of avoiding any esoteric pretense. Ernest Hemingway is quoted as saying: "There is nothing to writing. All you have to do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed."
